Robert Carbajal

I was born and raised in Denver, CO, but am now living with my family out here in the vast farmland of Ames, IA.

I was first introduced to the world of computers in 1998 when I began work as a computer operator scanning documents and entering data. Shortly thereafter I expanded to help desk support and full network administration.

As enjoyable as being a network administrator was, I knew that my true career goal was to be a professional developer. I finally got my chance to move into that path in 2004 as an intern working for the Iowa Department of Transportation, Highway Support Division. I have never looked back and since then I have continued to expand my knowledge of the ever-growing field of Computer Science.

Whether going from computer operator to network administrator, or from simple HTML to the myriad of computer languages on which the world runs, I am constantly and eagerly looking toward learning and absorbing as much knowledge as possible about the world and everything in it. I love what I do and I look forward to every day that I get to make a living out of my passion.
